I actually used to be afraid of dogs! Then I ended up living alone out in the country, and was nervous without a second body around the house at night. So, one day my Mum called and announced that she had a puppy for me. It was a cute puppy, a huskey, shepherd mix. I took her to the vet, and they told me she was ill, prescribed some meds and I said if she is going to die tell me. I won't keep her, it will break my heart. The vets knew me and asked me to please keep her for a few days at least, till they were sure of what was wrong. The bloodwork came back, and they were wrong, the meds worked and she was with me for the rest of her life. I then took her to obedience, to learn how to properly care for her. Won the little show at the end of the course and decided I wanted to try showing in obedience. I was given the little dark blue roan girl above, and finished her pretty much myself. Then I bought the red at the front. Since then I have had Engies for 16 years. Now I need something that takes a little less time to groom, a little less exercise, and something that I don't have to run around the ring with. My decision, was to find a nice little long haired chihuahua. Thanks to Cathleen, I have one!!! Beautiful little guy. And I am quite excited!! I will probably take some time to learn all about him, but already love him to pieces. I will appreciate any helpful tips that anyone might be willing to pass on to me. Thanks for allowing me to join :).
